Positivity Amidst the Lockdown

A few months before 2020,   I bet  everyone  of us has already laid out plans for the coming year.  Given quite a number of long weekends, w e already have a good idea for our vacation plans, how will we utilize our work leaves and where will we go during our holidays. Then enter 2020.  January proved to be not a good start of the year. There were volcanoes erupting, celebrities dying and yes of course Covid-19  pandemic . Covid-19  pandemic  which is caused by the Coronavirus  resulted for  most of  us to be locked  down in the comforts of our own homes. Employees were advised to work from home and stay away from the public to contain the spread of the virus. Unfortunately for some, their livelihood was taken away because working from home is not feasible and their company has no means to sustain the workforce. Experts say that the world will be going to a period of depression and many more jobs will be inevitably ...

Respect Matters

Your thoughts are flying with what went wrong in your previous relationship even though love has always been there from the beginning. But what happened that suddenly everything was gone?

RESPECT that matters most suddenly collapse without you knowing it.

Respect is the highest way to express your feelings for your partner. It's a silent way of communication that builds a strong foundation between two people. Without it, wildness just like a beast is the only thing left. Then the result is feeling degraded and the only thing remaining is just a physical appearances.

Here are some advise where you can show respect to your partner:
1.      Always listen attentively whenever your partner is talking.
2.      Show appreciation in any simple way you know.
3.       Don’t let your humour turn to hurting her/his feelings.
4.      Never violate the privacy of one another.
5.       Don’t criticize.
6.      Talk directly to your partner rather than talking to others.
7.      Both your opinions matter.
8.      Be quick in saying “Please forgive me.”
9.      Be supportive with your partner’s choices.
10.  Don’t embarrass your partner to others but always be proud with her/him.

RESPECT matters, without it everything is nothing.

Dating vs Being Married

Dating  is the early stage of the relationship where both show off the good  and shiny version of our selves.  It’s the time when we put our best foot forward an d try to impress one another. As  time passes by, we became more settled, feelings grow deeper and eventually get married. As we get more comfortable with each other, we tend to notice some changes in our partners, and I think most couples will agree. Marriage can be wonderful. It can be an overflowing feeling of happiness.  On the other hand,  it can also turn   out to be the worst thing that could happen to you . It’ s essential  to use  the  dating  stages   to get  to  know and be familiar with our partner. It can help decide whether you want to have that commitment. But sad to say, people hide what their true colors are. No body is perfect. When you decide to  live together in the same roof, that’s the time you will really know who your par...

I'm Not Perfect and Neither Are You

I'm Not Perfect and Neither Are You! Many say that I am a perfectionist. I will admit that it’s half true. I want things to be always perfect. I hate hearing “this is okay”. I always want everything to be at its “best”. For instance, when my husband and I were selecting paint colours for our house, I don’t like just any colour. I selected it in a way that it has the same blend and I rejected some which I felt were not suited to my taste. My aim was to make it unique and that it would last for long time. At work, I don’t like my colleagues to do the job just to complete it. I always want things to be accomplished properly and accordingly, no shortcuts or excuses. If I feel that there is something wrong, I make it a point to highlight it and frankly voice out what I think. It is not easy trying to be perfect because not everybody is aiming for it, and sometimes it results to misunderstandings. Though my goal is always for everyone’s benefit, some will not appreciate it and ...
